BEAUTIFUL YARNS

"You must do something
to make the world more
beautiful." ...

~Barbara Cooney

and Camilla does just that.

Her new shop Mountain Girl Yarns
is filled with the most lovely of yarns,
have you had a chance to visit? The
only problem I encountered was trying
to decide which yarn to put in my cart,
I wanted them all. I finally decided on
the yarn Town and Country, not only
for the awesome colors of the yarn, but
for the name, I love it.

I placed an order on Friday and received
it today, Montana to South Carolina in
three days, wow! Kudos to the PO too
for really helping.

I know I am suppose to be working on
my Christmas knitting, but I couldn't
resist winding up a few cakes and casting
on another pair of socks. Sock knitting =
heaven.

When you get a moment stop by and
say Hello to Camilla, she is beautiful
inside and out.

PS: I am not compensated for this
post, these are my feelings that I
share freely with you.

  1. Oh Yay! What a lovely post, and so true about Camilla (what I know of her at least). I simply CANNOT wait for my yarn to arrive though I imagine it will take a little longer to arrive here in Canada... sigh. What do you think, should we have a little unofficial Mountain Girl Knit Along?.... wonder if Camilla would mind. A nice follow up pair to your Indian Summer socks. Wishing you a lovely start to your week, Tracey! xo

  2. How wonderful! Like Leigh, I think my order might take a little longer to arrive. That won't stop me from checking the mailbox though :) Enjoy your knitting with that lovely yarn.

  7. wow her yarns are beautiful Tracey...I love her logo too. I was just about to buy a skein but unfortunately the postage to the uk is just a bit too high and would make them a very expensive pair of socks.I'll see if I can resist the temptation for a little while.
