in our pursuit of happiness and
just be happy.
My Thanksgiving weekend
has been fabulous and I am
sorry to see the sun setting on
the last of a four day holiday.
There was a lot of time
spent in the kitchen baking
and of course eating.
Miss Daisy Mae Turkey was
just glad the whole day ended
and she could roam free with
no worries ;)
I spent time knitting and
taking care of 'whiny babies.'
I updated my etsy shop and
somehow messed up the shipping.
Sigh, I hope to get that fixed soon,
as for now it says I only mail in
the US and that's not right.
More happy mail arrived and I
owe a big thank you to Debby
and to Susan for the socks and
lovely gifts.
I want to thank EVERYONE for the
sock donations, The final total is 55
pairs of socks and I think that is really
awesome,You are the best.
I started putting out my Christmas
decorations today, and while I
love the sparkle they add to my
home I haven't put the tree up
yet for fear it will be a dried
twig by the 25th.
It has been very warm here and I
noticed this evening that my fig
tree is starting to put on new leaves.
I could really use some cold weather
and a foot or two of snow!

ReplyDeleteI do an artificial tree. Have for years. I miss the scent of a real one, but not all the care that goes into it. And then not wanting a cat to jump in it - LOL!
ReplyDeleteI will be putting mine up the weekend after next - a bit late for me....
