BREATHE TODAY

A plant is not thinking: Tomorrow I will put a new
leaf to the north and then next week when it rains
I will grow a meter taller. Its existence is just unfolding
out of itself spontaneously, naturally, unplanned.
Similarly, your true life unfolds in the same way
but you are unaware of it because you allow your
mind to imagine fanciful ways of being and then
pursue your projections. Like this, you began
thinking and strategising your existence rather
than simply experiencing your natural being.
We cannot breathe tomorrows, breath today.
Therefore, knowing this, leave your existence
to existence and start enjoying your cosmic
play. Best of all, don’t try to be anything at
all. This is a secret few recognize.

It has been such a peacefilled
weekend. The temperatures
dropped as predicted, but not
so much that any of the plants
were damaged. I discovered my
Spanish lavender is in bloom and
the mint is once again trying to
take over. I have been snacking on
sliced apples with almond butter
and I think I finally found my groove
with making Bulletproof coffee {and
I'm liking it ;)]. I finished reading
although I wish I hadn't , harming
animals and then children...not for me.
I finished knitting a little hat and
my gift for the spring swap {more
soon] and am now working on sofa
arm covers for a friend. Tomorrow
our spring bring begins!  Life is
good.

  2. Oh that little hat is so sweet! Glad you mentioned the book, I have it on my list, but think I might move it to the bottom for now :( Gosh that mint looks lovely, I can't wait to see green in my garden.

Wishing you a lovely week Tracey, enjoy your spring break. xo

  4. The hay is cute with its elongated tassel. I have yet to try almond butter. Does it have a prominent taste like peanut butter?

  13. Your weekend not only sounds peaceful, but looks peaceful too.
Despite mint's tendency to run rampant I am anxiously awaiting it's return.
Bulletproof coffee is new to me. I'll have to read up on it as it looks rather tasty.

  15. Glad nothing got frosted. That is always a worry here. Sliced apples and peanut butter is always one of my favorite snacks.

  17. As always, your choice in quotes gives me much to think about, I really like this one and think its a good one to remember (daily in my case). Well, over the winter you might have experienced just a wee bit of snow envy but I must confess now to having a major case of flower envy! Up here we are in the ugliest of seasons with a mix of ice and puddles and dirty (DIRTY) snow everywhere the eye can see. Your beautiful photos are a real sight for sore eyes, Tracey :) LOVE the little knits, too! I'm glad you are enjoying these good life moments and I'm wishing you many more. xo
