A QUESTION ABOUT YOUR ICEBOX

It's the little things.

~ Unknown

I am curious about your kitchen,
the icebox actually. Do you use your
icebox to hang notices, calendar's,
artwork?  Does it make it feel more
homey with things decorating it?
Or are you more comfortable with
it just blank, or almost blank? I
have one magnet the lives on
the front of mine and that is all...
but I do have a few items
on TOP. ;)

  1. The front of our fridge is not magnetic and therefore stays blank. One side has potholders and the grocery list hanging on it, while the other displays our calendar, recipes I want to try and "stuff". Not too terribly cluttered, but definitely not a blank slate.

  2. I have a few magnets that mean quite a bit to me, but on top...vitamins and medicines :-) I like your magnet. Perfectly uncluttered! m.

  3. I have a few magnets, a kitchen timer and a small white dry erase board (for the weekly menu) on the top part, the lower part is empty and there is almost nothing on top, just two bowls that are too big for any cabinet (my bread making bowls, the tea kettle and a lazy susan.

  4. There is a calender on one side, the other side is against the wall. The front has a few magnets with quotes that I enjoy, some rotating artwork from the little man and a small collection of magnets from places we have visited.

Love your magnet, and the look of your kitchen :)

  9. My old 1960's era fridge had my magnet collection on it and some "artwork" But then it died and we had to replace it, not quite with my dream fridge, the space was too small, but we leave the front uncluttered. The side by the door has ABC magnets and the other side has some magnets with cooking conversions and my shopping list. The top has dog medication and cat treats.
I'm really bummed about my 1960's fridge, btw.

  18. Mine used to be covered in things but I felt like it just gets too cluttered and makes the kitchen more cluttered looking than it already is. I love all the things on top of yours though. Ours is so high, I can't seem to get anything up there.

  19. I try not to clutter it because it seems then things always fall off when I open the door. I have a few things on there that I have to hang in a pinch. Like a drawing that says "you are the best mom ever." And a few other essentials.
