MY WEEKEND

When one tugs at a single thing in
nature, he finds it attached to the
rest of the world.

~ John Muir

This weekend brought just Mike and I
at home so we decided to get away for
a little while.

We hiked, talked, planned and dreamed.
We discovered a beautiful, although crumbling
house and made up stories as to what happened
to the family who once made it a home.
We had a special time.

Today we are home and taking it easy.
I've discovered the joys of pinterest and
am having the best time making boards.
Dinner is in the crock pot,  I have the
hammock set up, a new book to read and
some sun to soak up.  Enjoy your day!

  9. I love exploring old houses like that. It is always fun to imagine who lived there and what happened and why is the house abandoned. There are several ghost towns in Colorado that are fun to explore. Pintrest is so addicting. I love my kitchen and yarn pages!

  18. What a beautiful weekend in words and pictures.♥ That armadillo is so cute! I like to imagine stories when I visit old houses and interesting places. Sometimes when I am walking through the woods, I imagine that I am a woman from long ago. . .
