This weekend brought just Mike and I
at home so we decided to get away for
a little while.
We hiked, talked, planned and dreamed.
We discovered a beautiful, although crumbling
house and made up stories as to what happened
to the family who once made it a home.
We had a special time.
Today we are home and taking it easy.
I've discovered the joys of pinterest and
am having the best time making boards.
Dinner is in the crock pot, I have the
hammock set up, a new book to read and
some sun to soak up. Enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteI love exploring old houses like that. It is always fun to imagine who lived there and what happened and why is the house abandoned. There are several ghost towns in Colorado that are fun to explore. Pintrest is so addicting. I love my kitchen and yarn pages!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Love the walk in the wilds and the old house and that you make up stories. Your weekend sounds very special.
ReplyDeleteLove your pintrest pages too...I must take time this year to start one but I still have to begin filling in my ravelry pages...I'm sure that I'll get there eventually and in the meantime enjoy everyone else's. Thank you for sharing your weekend with us.
