Let us be grateful to people who make
us happy, they are the charming gardeners
who make our souls blossom.
~Marcel Proust
This has been a week of...
Being humbled by all the
thoughtful comments on
Pappaw. Thank you. You
make my soul blossom and
I am so grateful to have you
in my life.
Alex as a thank you for modeling
the sweater for me. I have
learned over the years that
teenage boys always appreciate
any food, they have endless
stomachs I tell you! ;)
I discovered Avocado Mayo
the other day; I am not
sure if this is a good thing
or not, I want to eat it on
everything.
Did you hear about the swap
Amanda is hosting? Thank
gives me something to look forward
to now that the holiday's are past.
Have you seen the new cable needles
Karen has in her shop? I know what
I'm gifting myself for Valentines
Day.
love to knit, but first I am back to
finish before the heat of summer
returns. I feel bad that it got pushed
aside for other knits, but now it
has all my knitting attention.
Do you have exciting plans for the
weekend? I plan on just letting the
days unfold and going with the flow.
No matter what you have going on,
I hope you are warm, safe and happy.
Peace to you.
Love,
Tracey
XO
Soul blossoms. So beautiful - the idea and the photos.
ReplyDeleteThe cable needles are gorgeous, but more gorgeous is Alex. And that sweater! Wow!
gotta keep those boys happy!!! snickerdoodles would do it around my house, too! (beautiful photos); maybe i should drag out my 'blanket' too----we can slosh through them together.
ReplyDeleteOoh that blogger swap sounds fun. I will ponder a bit on that. I like that sweater design. I can't wait to see what yarn you'll use.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers, love the needles, don't think I have ever made snicker doodles - they are now on the list.
ReplyDeleteThe swap is going to be epic :) I too am looking forward to gifting (and receiving). I love the sweater that you are thinking about, great texture and so roomy! No big plans this weekend, except knitting but you knew that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images Tracey. I signed up for the swap, it is going to be so much fun! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are truly beautiful and the avocado mayo sounds delicious...I just had a rice salad with avocado with baby cherry tomatoes for lunch...mmm...That sweater looks good and the needles gorgeous colour. I have a few patterns in the queue too, but like you want to finish off another
ReplyDeleteproject first.
We're going to London tonight, I haven't been for ages so am quite excited. I'm meeting my sister-in-law tonight and my sister tomorrow whose just moved there. It will be lovely to catch up with them.
I hope you have a lovely one too.

I am really looking forward to the swap too. Tonight we are going to see a show at the casino and have some dinner. The rest of the weekend is reserved for my to-do list, which of course includes lots of knitting! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat swap sounds like such a fun idea! The cable needles – swoon!
ReplyDeleteMy plans for the weekend are to make my family spoil me in every way possible. I forsee a lot of coffee. (:
ReplyDelete(This makes sense if you know that my birthday is Monday)
Baking for boys always makes them happy. The Beast has requested that in exchange for hugs on Monday that I bake a chocolate brownie cake (which he calls coffee brownie cake in the cutest three year old voice).
Happy Friday, Tracey!
Avo Mayo sounds very interesting, I'll have to look at that:)
ReplyDeleteRichard and I are going on a long mountain bike tomorrow and then relaxing on Sunday.
Have a lovely weekend Tracey
I want to go to the Aquarium here in Hamburg with my kids but I believe I'm coming down with a cold so don't know how this will work out.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
I think the avo mayo looks good. I actually just use avo instead of mayo all together on my samich. Lovely image today Tracey...swoon. Yes, fun plans, we are going to watch ski joring today- when you ski behind horses- should be fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend
xo
You have turned me on to many new and wonderful things. Oh yes the avocado mayo, always good for you. :) I need to add the cable needle to my wish list. Those look perfect!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! They remind me of Georgia O'Keefe's paintings. Avocado mayo sounds yummy! And, ohhhhh I *LOVE* that sweater pattern you have your eye on. I'm going to have to add that one to my list of possible future knits.
