THE WEEKEND

Above all, do not lose your desire to walk.
Every day I walk myself into a state of well-being
and walk away from every illness.  I have walked
myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no
thought so burdensome that one cannot walk
away from it.

~Soren Kierkegaard

This weekend was
a day of rain :: a day of sunshine.

A day of staying in, knitting,
cleaning out the dining room
cupboard, watching an old movie ::
a day spent outdoors hiking and
enjoy warm, spring like weather,
just soaking it all in and enjoying
life.

It was a good weekend.

  8. We had a similar weekend - one day of rain and one day with sorta-sunshine! But it wasn't snowing and it was above freezing so we shall take it and not complain. I love your beach pictures!

  10. Those trees are amazing Tracey. I find myself staring at trees for ages and those ones are something else. We are having similar weather...the rain has stopped the flood defense up and now it's like spring with buds everywhere.

  11. These trees remind me so much of our few days spent in Savannah with my sister 2 years ago.. *sigh*, homesick for her and homesick for the States...

Tracey, I'm emailing you my address for the pay it forward of the book. If it is too much postage though I wouldn't mind if you sent it to someone closer! I will continue to pay it forward, after me I am sure my mum will want to read it as well!
