Above all, do not lose your desire to walk.
Every day I walk myself into a state of well-being
and walk away from every illness.  I have walked
myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no
thought so burdensome that one cannot walk
away from it.

~Soren Kierkegaard

This weekend was
a day of rain :: a day of sunshine.

A day of staying in, knitting,
cleaning out the dining room
cupboard, watching an old movie ::
a day spent outdoors hiking and
enjoy warm, spring like weather,
just soaking it all in and enjoying

It was a good weekend.

  1. Nothing like a good walk. Love that bridge photo.

  2. Sounds wonderful Tracey. Your pictures have me craving a hike in the south...soon I hope :)

  3. What a lovely weekend! Sounds just perfect to me. : ) I *love* that Soren Kierkegaard quote--so much truth in it. I get lost in your photos, Tracey. It's like a vacation for me every time you write a post.♥

  4. We are doing the sames activities. I've cleared out many cupboards and the pantry today. I'm tired and sore. I love the photos of where you walk about, so quiet and serene!!

  5. beautiful walk... beautiful photos
    lovely quote!

  6. That tree is like a wizend, old, wise man.I love how you take advantage of rainy days. Send us some of your rain. We sorely need it.

  7. what pretty and peaceful photos, friend.
I hope your week is proving to be the same.

  8. We had a similar weekend - one day of rain and one day with sorta-sunshine! But it wasn't snowing and it was above freezing so we shall take it and not complain. I love your beach pictures!

  9. Sounds like a perfect balance xxx

  10. Those trees are amazing Tracey. I find myself staring at trees for ages and those ones are something else. We are having similar weather...the rain has stopped the flood defense up and now it's like spring with buds everywhere.

  11. These trees remind me so much of our few days spent in Savannah with my sister 2 years ago.. *sigh*, homesick for her and homesick for the States...

Tracey, I'm emailing you my address for the pay it forward of the book. If it is too much postage though I wouldn't mind if you sent it to someone closer! I will continue to pay it forward, after me I am sure my mum will want to read it as well!

  12. It's been so long since I took a few moments to visit your space, dear Tracey. As always your photos are stunning! xoxoR

  13. I do love it when you post about the beach, friend! What beautiful photos!

  14. Beautiful photos, Tracey! That tree is stunning. Such beautiful paths you have to wander.
