GRATITUDE WEEK: THURSDAY

The world has enough beautiful mountains
michelle gd gratitude 2012and meadows, spectacular skies and serene
lakes. It has enough lush forests, flowered
fields and sandy beaches. It has plenty of
stars and the promise of a new sunrise
and sunset every day. What the world
needs more of is people to appreciate
and enjoy it.

~Michael Josephson

Today I am grateful for:

-quilts on beds, it turned
a little chilly here last
night.

-waking to the sound
of raindrops on the roof

-bread rising on the
counter and dinner in
the crockpot

-time yesterday to play
at the marsh, to take
in the sights, smells,
feel of it all.

-not missing a single
day of juicing all
month

My morning juice recipe:

1 head Romaine Lettuce
Huge bunch of Kale
1 large Apple
1 Lemon
1-2 inch piece Gingerroot
1 Tablespoon Breakfast Blend

  2. So much to be grateful for when we count all the little things that are in fact so special and important...like warm quilts on the bed when the night turns chilly. Your juice recipe sounds interesting. Sounds like that recipe makes quite a bit of juice...do you drink the entire recipe every morning? Stay well and enjoy your Thursday!

  6. Tracey I love that poem! It's so true.
You must be feeling AWESOME after a month of that juice. it sounds revitalizing. Juicing is on my looooooong to do list. After I saw that documentary "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" I really got interested! You are slim, healthy and full of life, but I'm sure you're getting some added benefits from juicing :)

  9. Lovely poem. And a lovely list. We have been juicing up a storm here lately, my Vitamix is broken so the juicer is getting a workout :)
