A WINTER"S GARDEN

Earth is here so kind,
that just tickle her
with a hoe and she
laughs with a harvest.

 ~Douglas William Jerrold

 [lettuce]
 [radish]
 [collards]
 [red onions]
 [broccoli]
 [garlic]
 [spinach]
[carrots]

I may complain [a lot] about
not having snow, we need rain,
and it is definitely not as
pretty as a spring garden,
but I have to say that
I am enjoying the fresh
produce right out my
back door.
Now if I can just find
where I put my hoe as
there are a few weeds
I need to take care of.
Next week I will show

you what's growing
 in the green house.

  5. What a green thumb you have! A most impressive winter garden...if weeds are there, they are hard to see!

  13. you brave soul, you! I've always wanted to attempt a winter garden, but never had the guts. I just flirt with the idea, and nothing ever happens. Fresh produce outside your door through winter is gorgeous indeed! :)
