Do you really think it is
weakness that yields to
temptation? I tell you
that there are terrible
temptations which it
requires strength,
strength and courage
to yield to.
~Oscar Wilde
I already have three projects
on my needles and was
quite happy, then I saw
this and really want to
cast it on too!
Is this what it means to be
a real knitter or do I have
a problem?
Well - it is a free pattern, so I would say it doesn't technically count. It is a nice one though. xxx
ReplyDeleteIf you have a problem so do I. I've always got too many projects on the way and now there's one more because I do so love that beret pattern and I've been on the look out for one since last winter. Oh ow!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, you have to have different projects at hand to suit different moods. Don't you?
ReplyDeleteIf you have a problem, then so do I. Do you think they offer treatment at the yarn store? (That pattern is in my queue too.)
ReplyDeleteLovely pattern, and no you don't have a problem, enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteAll that practice will put you well on your way to become a Master Knitter! Lovely yarn, by the way :) I just picked up some new needles tonight with all four kids in tow, so I didn't do much yarn browsing. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteyes, you are in trouble now. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat problem? I don't see a problem. (The hat is beautiful!)
ReplyDelete*Like* ;)
DeleteOoh, I love that beret. It's going in my favorites. I am only knitting one project right now, a silk scarf for me. I don't think you have a problem, you have a passion :o)
ReplyDeleteYou won't be bored with all those projects going on. Do you read more than one book at a time too? I do.
ReplyDeleteoh come on, it's just a beret, LOL!! go for it Tracey! it's definitely NOT a problem, it's the knitter's way of life :-))
ReplyDeleteokay wow, I see your problem. With so many lovely projects, how you can you not want to cast on more!!!! That slouchy hat is wonderful!! Wish I can offer good advice, but I can't. I say just dive in Tracey!!!

ReplyDeleteSo funny! Last night Chase and I were looking at patterns and he saw this same pattern and said he really thought it was cool.
I am still in the "buying too much yarn" phase....I guess the knitting too many projects is coming?

I love that you have the same problems I do.

Knitting, animals, babies. Yum.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I'm shocked I haven't cast on anything new this year. So I must be the one with a problem!
