Nature does not hurry,
yet everything is accomplished.

~Lao Tzu

weekending, my favorite part of the week. a time to relax, live, love, just to be. if you'd like to share your weekend either with words, photographs, or both, leave a link to a weekend post in the commentsJoining with Amanda for her weekending post

It was a wonderful holiday
with way too much food,
lots of laughter and lots
of love.
I haven't cooked for days
because there were leftovers-
the best part of Thanksgiving
I think. Now I'm browsing
recipes as leftovers will only
last so long.
Trying not to hyperventilate
with Advent starting TODAY
and I had a missing planner!
I tore the house apart
and finally found it. I know
I did Not put it there!
Knowing in my heart that
I will accomplish what really
needs to be done and if it
doesn't happen, then it's
going to be alright. The
advent wreath is ready
and the Christmas cards
are bought and waiting
to be signed. I have a hot cup
of tea, new Christmas pages
to load in my planner and
the rest of the afternoon to
plan and dream.
How is your weekend

  1. Ah - glad you had a good holiday - leftovers are the best - at Christmas we usually just have roast dinners for a few days until we make soup with the bones. It's the only time of the year we eat turkey.
I have a parcel all wrapped up ready to post when they open on Tuesday. xx

  2. I am glad you had a nice holiday and you found your planner! We decorated and now I am going to relax and recover from all the driving around we did these past four days!

  3. Mostly knitted this past weekend.
Some outdoor decorating, some indoor decorating.
Learned DD#1 will be here for Christmas.
    Whopee ! ! ! !
Sounds like you're ready for GO!
    hugs n' ♥s,

  4. "Nature does not hurry,
yet everything is accomplished." So this quote! That willow tree is Beautiful!! A lost planner this time of year is not a good thing, so glad you found it:) ~ Barefoot Mama

  5. oh leftovers, my favorite part too. sadly all ours went home with my boys this year.

i'm so glad you found your planner, how do these things just get up on their own and walk away? :)

  6. Ready or it comes!!! Lucky you--a planner! I'm afraid I'd be depressed seeing how far behind I am!!! Ignorance is bliss!

  7. I love that quote. Enjoy your day of planning and dreaming. Sounds lovely. We are doing the same. Staying in jammies all day - and geting my "knit" on. :)

  8. I'm with you...lost without my planner :). Have fun organizing everything to do with your Christmas season...what a fantastic time of year! (wishing I could have my blogging friends over for some coffee and cookies :)

  9. That is the most perfect quote for me right now Tracey :)
So glad you got some time to plan and dream.... sounds perfect!

  10. I also paused and took that quote in... it's really beautiful ;)
