If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite,
something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go
far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite,
more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a
little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs
because it sees the sun shining on its cradle.
~Vincent van Gogh
As much as I love blogging
there is one drawback
that makes me very sad
and that is not being
able to open my doors
to all of you, especially
when someone is preparing
to bring a new life into
the world. Is there anything
more special, especially at
this time of year?
So, I am hosting a shower
via internet for someone I
have come to just love,
Amanda from the habit
of being. Surprise Amanda!
On December 12, 2011
I will be posting pictures
of a few little gifts I
have picked up for her
soon to be born little
Caboose and would love
to have all of you join me.
I will have the coffee hot,
the tea poured, the
scones will be baked and
it I can figure out how,
the linky thing set up
for everyone who would
like to come to the shower.
I thought we could all
post our gift, blog hop,
and then just mail
everything directly to
Amanda.
Sound good?
xx
