A GOAL

When you start with a portrait
and search for a pure form, a
clear volume, through successive
eliminations, you arrive inevitably
at the egg. Likewise, starting with
the egg and following the same
process in reverse, one finishes
with the portrait.

I have a goal of painting every
one of them on hollowed out
eggs.

    Oh my goodness, that sure is one helluva goal
    and they look absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I have a specific sort of goal like that.

    That is one big goal and a lovely one too. My only big goal is to one day finish my Dear Jane Quilt, but I am really bad at working at it. Looking forward to seeing your birdies.

    Wow...that's a loaded question, Tracey ;) I have many...though it seems the more I have the less I do. Maybe my goal should be not to have any goals. I don't know. Someday I'll get it right. These are lovely, by the way. Paint on!

    Oh....just for a minute I thought you were going to do a give-away with some of those lovely birds! They are gorgeous...best of luck in your painting goals. Hmmmm.....my goal for now is to get the house clean every night before I go to bed just in case there is a baby here in the morning :)
