Absolutely! I tried 2 kinds this year - one basically for decoration and scent (lemon basil) and the other for eating. I always plant more than needed. Is that bottom photo purple basil? Does it have a name? Gotta make my last few batches of pesto for the winter...
YAY! I love Basil and just planted a bunch more myself from seed. It was a mix of all different kinds, excited about the brown/green. Cinnamon Basil? XO
agreed! and it's one herb that actually doesn't seem to mind my care. parsley and cilantro on the other hand...they run screaming when they see me coming ;-)
