Oh you poor dears! Would someone tell Mother Nature to take it down a notch or two?!? Thinking of you and sending cool breezes your way!
I remember that not so long ago we were where you are now. Thinking of you while we huddle next to the fire.I've got to tell you that I'm not looking forward to summer if it is anything like it was last time!
We finally got a break in the weather! I have been hibernating since summer arrived. Stay cool!!
Oh Tracey! Paper mache projects are so fun! My mom let us make the biggest messiest things when I was growing up and now I get to recreate that with my own kids! I love saying "just make whatever!" and seeing what we all come up with! I love the composition in that last photo - especially where her eyes are just above the bowl - great job! :)We've been at the pool - a lot!!! Its hard to get to the beach with the baby but we go in the evening when the timing is just so. My kids know I won't step outside in the florida summer heat unless water is involved! lol!
FUN! It's hot here in ND too...
Yes! Paper mache! What a fun indoor activity for such a hot summer.
Looks like the perfect activity for staying inside trying to keep cool! I am not worried about the heat, I am huddled up in my winter housecoat hugging a mug of hot coffee!
i have yet to do paper mache with my kids! maybe we will do that soon. however, my crazy ass is taking the kids to the zoo tomorrow. my brother got us a membership for christmas last year and members get to see a free 4d movie. plus one of the nature challenges we are doing is at the zoo. hope we don't have heat stroke!
Oh wow, that was my plan for a little play this week, some paper mache. It is so chilly this evening. July and my neighbor has lit a fire!x
our summer has returned for a bit today after days and days of rain... that craft project looks fantastic! can't wait for my little guy to start being interested in this kind of thing.xx
Best grandma ever!! I'm scared to let them have papier-mache outside of art class.
Oh, it's awful, isn't it? We've been hiding out inside, too. As my mom says, this weather is fit for neither man nor beast.
