or emotional. Let this be a sign that
you've got a big heart and aren't afraid
to let others see it. Showing your emotions
is a sign of strength.
~ Brigitte Nicole
This has been a weekend of highs
and lows.
There has been a bow wearing cat,
cheesecake and gifts unwrapped as
I attended a bridal shower thrown
by my daughter for my future daughter
in love. My gift was a copy of a photo
I keep in my kitchen of her future
husband at age four, it's a favorite.
It was fun hanging out with such a great
group of women.
I turned the heels of my socks, always
fun and knit a swatch {my crown should
be arriving shortly because I never knit
a gauge swatch, I usually just keep my
fingers crossed and wing it ;) } for a future
project using this; On a size 5 I meet
gauge and will be casting on soon,
another joy in knitting.
Can I ask you to say a little prayer for my
Pappaw? Remember, he is the one I knit
a sweater for a little while ago [here. and
here ]. He is 96 years old and not doing
very well. While I do realize he has lived
a long live, he is my grandfather and has
always been a part of my life, I love him.

You looks so beautiful and happy Tracey! Lovely images of your family.
ReplyDeleteI wing my knitting too :)
Holding your Pappaw in my thoughts and prayers...(that's a tough one Tracey)
I hope he will feel better soon.
Big hug
What a lovely weekend Tracey. And you my friend look radiant.
ReplyDeleteSending a prayer now, and I will continue to keep your Pappaw in my thoughts. Sending you a hug too. xo

ReplyDeleteThe pictures from the bridal shower are beautiful. You have a beautiful family Tracey! And good for you for doing a gauge swatch....I usually wing it too!
Your grandfather is in my prayers! Hang in there Tracey. You look lovely with the girls and I know you loved giving that photo to her, how very sweet!

ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet gift you gave, Tracey. :) Will keep your granpa in my prayers, my friend. Such a hard thing...I was super close to my mom's mom (my Baba) which made it all the harder when her life wound down. She was 95 when she went "home!" Oh, to live such a long life! :)
