Except for a face  and
some hair, I finished
the doll I began last
week.  I solved the sewing
problem by putting the
doll in a dress that I wore.
The doll was so easy and quick
I have already begun another.
This time I thought I would
make a boy doll to have a pair.

I am not usually a magazine
reader, but during a past
Yarn Along  the MaryJanesFarm Magazine
was featured. I picked one
up at Barnes and Noble  and
love it! I will be sending in the little
card so I will not have to hunt for
it, it will arrive right in my mail box.
The article about chickens and
making chicken nappies is over
the top! Of course, now I am back
to the whole sewing issue! xx

Linking with Ginny.

I just may have to put this project on my list.
If I don't get backing to either my knitting or quilting my list will not get any shorter.

  9. The doll is beautiful! She really turned out well. I also love Mary Jane's farm, always look forward to each new issue. Happy knitting!

  10. The doll is adorable! I love your little dress, it is the perfect solution and fits her nicely.

Did you finish Soul Survivor? What's the verdict on that one?

  15. Your photos are just right. The soft colors and clear glass make them so inviting! I like that magazine too. I haven't seen it in a while but I do really like it.
