Except for a face and
some hair, I finished
the doll I began last
week. I solved the sewing
problem by putting the
doll in a dress that I wore.
The doll was so easy and quick
I have already begun another.
This time I thought I would
make a boy doll to have a pair.
I am not usually a magazine
reader, but during a past
Yarn Along the MaryJanesFarm Magazine
was featured. I picked one
up at Barnes and Noble and
love it! I will be sending in the little
card so I will not have to hunt for
it, it will arrive right in my mail box.
The article about chickens and
making chicken nappies is over
the top! Of course, now I am back
to the whole sewing issue! xx
Linking with Ginny.
That's going to be a cute doll-it reminds me of something Mom or Nanny would make. I'll have to look for that magazine-it sounds interesting.

Looks like your doll is a 'doll'. Very pink dress she's wearing.
ReplyDeleteI just may have to put this project on my list.
If I don't get backing to either my knitting or quilting my list will not get any shorter.
Hugs,
Gerry

ReplyDeleteOh, that petal pink dress with the smocking! I think I had a dress like that as a baby! I can't wait to see the finished doll. I love knitting toys.
ReplyDeleteDid you finish Soul Survivor? What's the verdict on that one?
Your photos are just right. The soft colors and clear glass make them so inviting! I like that magazine too. I haven't seen it in a while but I do really like it.
