WEEKENDING

Live in the
sunshine!!!

It's been an mostly outdoor weekend
for me...

The weather has been perfect, although
a wee bit chilly at night. I am thrilled
that all the windows are still open
and I have't had to turn on the A/C
yet, I'm going to hold out as long
as I can. I have a contest with one of
my son to see who can have the lowest
electric bill.

I've weeded, planted, watered in both
the herb and vegetable garden,
I've walked the yard and am pleased to
see the fruit trees doing well,

I've sat in the sun and talked on the phone
with my sons and daughter, my mom, my
sister and my best friend.

I started a new book and worked on Christmas
socks. I napped with the sun warming my
face and played with silly dogs.

I watched more episodes of The Sopranos
[I'm on season 5]  and knit after the
sun went down. Not sure what to watch
next, any suggestions?

I hope you had a great weekend and are
ready for a productive week ahead.

  5. love your outdoor photos, so cheerful and sunny! I was outside off and on, but allergies make me want to be indoors. Love the game you are playing with your son, I bet both of you will win in your pocketbooks :)

  6. Sounds like a beautiful weekend! I love how far along your garden is! I plan on putting out the tomato and pepper plants this week, hope the weather stays as nice as it is... We love "The Blacklist", "Turn" and "Vikings" right now. Maybe you could give them a try...

  7. Even though I didn't really care to record it - we recently watched all the episodes of "Shades of Blue" via On Demand. I really liked it and am waiting for the next season to start!

  8. Blueberries already - wow. I have the bees around, but there isn't much flowering for them in our yard except the flowering cherry tree. The socks are bright and cheery - someone will have very happy feet!
