of any place that smells like this.
It's a magnificent smell. It's the

After finishing my blanket
[which I posted about here]
I was excited to cast on a new
project and Follow Me is turning
out to be the perfect knit for
me right now. I love the simple
lines, the easy to remember
pattern and having time to
sit in the grass, watch the ibis.
listen to the water and knit
for a bit.
The House We Grew Up In
is still on my night stand.

i love cabin four patterns----this is another great one!!! (for as much as I love them, I still haven't actually knit one. :( soon!!!)
ReplyDeleteTracey, I cannot tell you often enough how much I love your photographs! You live in such a beautiful area and you seem to capture it just right!
ReplyDeleteI love your simple lines and ADORE the colors :) Beautiful!! Great bird shots as well :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects. What a perfect place to knit and be inspired!
ReplyDeleteI love the soothing natural colors!
ReplyDeleteWhat a dreamy place you live...look at all that beauty that surrounds you, Tracey...wow! Loving the colorways you're working with and glad you have an easyish project after finishing your gorgeous leaves of grass. I spent the entire afternoon yesterday on the back porch reading and knitting which was pure bliss...75 degrees and clear blue skies!

Such beautiful peaceful colours. The pattern looks great! I'd been eyeing a pattern for a shawl of theirs for a while now. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos today! I like your graceful project.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to click over to Amazon and check out your current read.
Great ibis photos! We are headed to the beach/brackish marshes this weekend for my birthday, weather permitting. Pretty yarn, as always. Do we ever get tired of saying, "Oh... what pretty yarn!"?
ReplyDeleteOh my- you always have the most incredible nature photos. It is really inspiring for me because I don't want to only take pictures of my girls and I used to have a nicer camera lens and had way more fun with creative photography for awhile. Maybe one day I'll have a nice camera again- for now I'll just drool over your photos and imagine your surroundings which are such a different landscape from the desert where I live!
ReplyDeleteYou live in such a beautiful place. Your feathered friends are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most gorgeous scenery. It's so completely different from anything here.
ReplyDeleteDo you sit and knit in all these beautiful settings that you photograph? It looks so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of birds... Amazing shot! Your shawl looks so soft!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. All of it!
ReplyDeleteI tried commenting last night but my phone wouldn't let me- so...I was writing that I think the shawl is lovely ln its simplicity- sometimes I think we all get so worked up about making things so fancy...but "plain fancy" is so lovely too- this pattern is on my list for sure. What a peaceful spot to knit at Tracey.
ReplyDeleteYou do live in a beautiful spot! Those birds! I can't even imagine being able to see them in person! So I'll live vicariously through you!

Wow Tracey - I didn't know what those birds were. Ibis! Great pictures today - that first one is really neat.
ReplyDeleteI love that snowy white nestled among the grey, Tracey.
ReplyDeleteLove what you are working on Tracey, and your photos have brought a sense of calm to me. Thank you. xo

ReplyDeletewow! gorgeous photos Tracey!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photographs Tracey. It all looks so calm and peaceful here. I love the shawl. It's such a contrast from the blanket...both beautiful in their own right. It's nice to work on different projects.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy knitting in that beautiful peaceful spot amongst the blades of grass.
