WEEKENDING

This weekend has been about
celebrating the 5th birthday
of my favorite person. All
five of my babies met at
the beach and spent the
day eating, swimming,
laughing, and just enjoying
each others company. It is
so hard for me to believe
that Emerson will be five
on the 7th of this month.

I overslept this morning,
not getting out of bed until
almost 8:30. Today the
temperature is suppose
to climb to 96 degrees,
without the heat index, so
I have plans to stay inside,
knit, read, maybe paint,
and eat ice cream. Butter
Pecan is my favorite favor
of ice cream, what's yours?

    5 years old! that is such a great year. :) and what a lovely way to celebrate it.
    ice cream.... hmmmm i have such a hard time picking a favorite, i love them all. LOL

    Awwww....such a sweet five year old! it really does go by too quickly, doesn't it? My four grands all have birthdays in the next month or so, as well.

    I love the photos...especially the one of your five together. Wonderful! Oh, and ummmm, most flavors?! Vanilla based anything is a sure bet, though.
