MY PATH

Say not, "I have found the truth,"
but rather, "I have found a truth."
Say not, "I have found the path
of the soul." Say rather, "I have
met the soul walking upon my path."
For the soul walks upon all paths.
The soul walks not upon a line,
neither does it grow like a reed.
The soul unfolds itself, like a
lotus of countless petals.

~Kahlil Gibran

This weekend was finally
getting the rest of the garden
planted, wearing long sleeves
and dodging raindrops, homemade
cookies, nearly stepping on a
snake, thank goodness it was
only a corn snake, cleaning
chicken coops, watching
one of my favorite band's
on dvd, wondering if I can
score tickets to see them on
tour this summer?  It was
a weekend of hardwork and
relaxation, it was a good
weekend and I hope yours
was too.

  1. Oh, the rain, Tracey! I was despairing of never seeing the sun again. I get sad and moody if I don't get some direct sunlight every couple of days. Sunday was beautiful - the blue sky was all I needed to lift my spirits. (:

  3. As long as that snake stays away from your chicken eggs, all is good, right?
