SILENCE

We need to find God,
and he cannot be
found in noise and
restlessness. God
is the friend of silence.
See how nature - trees,
flowers, grass - grows
in silence; see the stars,
the moon and the sun,
how they move in silence....
We need silence to be able
to touch souls.

~Mother Teresa
Along everyone else, my
heart is broken after
hearing the tragic news
from Connecticut. I
need to step away
from the world for a
little while to regroup.
Peace to you my friends.

It's beautiful and I would love to have it adorn our tree. Thanks Tracey for your generosity, 2 giveaways in a row!!!
My favorite thing to bake in the past few years is Peppermint bark :). Okay, I guess it's not really baking but I love to do it!!!

  14. It is horrifically mind-blowing about what happened to Newtown's school. It is frightening to think of how such a thing can happen.
