Some people come into our lives
and quickly go. Some stay for a
while, leave
footprints on our
hearts, and we are never,
ever the same.
~Flavia Weedn
So many of you have
touched my soul and become
embedded in my heart.
I laugh with you, worry about
you, cry for you, cheer
for you and pray for you,
you are my friends and
I am better because of
you.
With the holiday season
upon us I thought it
would be fun to begin with
a small giveaway, a paper
bird to hang on your tree
or maybe in a window.
Leave me a comment
and I'll let the random
generator pick next Thursday,
December 6th.
:) what a lovely little bird. did you make it?
ReplyDeleteOh that is lovely - I adore the paper that you used. Mmm this would not just be up for Christmas I think it would hang year round from the curtain rail in the bedroom where we sit on Saturday mornings and have our morning cuppa, looking out at the garden (and planning the weekend chores)
ReplyDeletethat's a darling little guy!! hooray for your first workout...the sit-ups are doing me in...i had no idea i was so weak in my middle! the whole 30 is going well...all 3 days...but i have no temptations at all and am feeling much more energetic! thank you my dear for the loving kick in the pants!
ReplyDeleteHow delicate is this little bird - it is perfect to hang all year round not just at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a generous spirit!! I hope all your Christmas wishes come true :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tracey!
ReplyDeleteThis would be such a beautiful piece of artwork to add to a tree.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You are such a good friend to so many..including me! I sent you a scarf for your birthday.. and it doesn't even hardly ever snow where you live...am I crazy?? I am sure I give you a good laugh every now and again:)
ReplyDeleteI hope I win your beautiful bird..
Much Love,
~~Renee
Tracey you are one of the most truly genuine people I've "met" in this little blog world of ours. I feel blessed to know you and am so grateful for all the advice and support you've shared and with me. I thought about you the other day as I was making a trio of southern dishes: hominy, sweet potato fries, and collard greens. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Tracey... what a beautiful paper bird, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am having problems with my computer again and do not seem to be able to post or even look at peoples blogs through blogger!!!
Ho hum!
Much love xxx
How gorgeous!! I wouldn't expect you to post to NZ, but happy Festive season to you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to call you one of my dearest blogger friends. You are so very generous and kind. Please don't feel you need to add me to the giveaway. Far to far to send it to Oz.
ReplyDeleteDear Tracey
ReplyDeleteThe quote at the top of the page and your own words which followed left me with quite a lump in my throat. Very fitting for me this week and such kind words to say about us all. I know exactly how you feel. Blogging has opened up a whole new world of likeminded friends for me, whose lives and loves I follow with hearfelt friendship but who I have never met. Its such a precious thing and kind of wonderful dont you think?
The tiny paper bird is just adorable and would look perfect on my tree. I'm not sure whether the giveaway is open to friends across the pond, but if so please count me in.
Sophie
Tracey I so love reading your posts. You are such a kind hearted person! I've said it before but I'll keep saying it. I so wish that we all could meet for knitting and tea and conversation. But I am so so glad for the computer in order for all of us to "know" each other! What a beautiful bird you're giving away. You are so generous!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog so much! Many times I spend my second cup of coffee after the kids go to school with you! What a lovely paper bird. Very thankful to know you and call you a friend in the blog world :)
