WEEKENDING

Just when I think I have
learned the way to live,
life changes.

~Hugh Prather
This past week was one of the
hardest I have had in a long
time and I was glad to see
it gone.

I think I walked for miles

on Saturday, going no
where in paticular, just
trying to make sense of
how this life works,
 trying to unlock a clue,
a hint,
trying to see inside
and make sense of
it all. In the end I
didn't return home
any the wiser,but
I did find that sense
of peace that can only
come from inside.

Sunday has brought
sunshine and early
morning chores in
the garden. It won't
be long until there
will be fresh peas
on the table.

There is always time
for knitting each and
every day, and now
there is even a better
reason to pick up the
needles.
Sunday has brought the
realization that no matter
how hard and unfair I
think this world is,
life is going to be okay
and I am going to soar.

  7. I often think that it is hardships in life that make us better people. Sounds like you did what you needed to do to get to a better place. I will pray for continuing peace for you.

  17. I'm sorry you had such a tough week. Challenges in life are not fun to deal with but somehow, you come out stronger from it. I think wiser too but that may take awhile before you can see light in a sitch. Hugs to you.

  20. Gosh, I can't even imagine, to have a beautiful event followed by a tragic one, I am so sorry dear Tracey. I can see that your spirit has handled it with strength, grace, and faith, and that is what I love about you. Much love to you my beautiful friend....
    XO

ps. Thanks for the link to the KAL project, I am inspired as I love fingerless gloves. I made the peekaboo mitts last year and they turned out great. Do you know which one you are going to make?
