Blueberries for Sal is one of my favorites. And I just checked out Extra Yarn from the library here. I do so love the ocean. Glad you got to touch it and have it touch you. Sounds like a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh! Blueberries for Sal!!
ReplyDeleteI love Anne Morrow Lindbergh's book, A Gift from the Sea. I read it a few years back but is sounds like one I need to re-read. It is a lovely book, as is Blueberries for Sal. Homemade pizza sounds great, as does spending time at the beach. Thanks for the lovely post. Enjoy the week ahead.

i love it all tracey, sounds like a perfect weekend! i love all those books too, and a.m.lindbergh's has been gifted to friends more times than i can remember. when i was a young mother i really identified with it, her having five children and i did too. it helped me feel less alone, since i didn't know anyone with one child, much less five. see you in a few weeks!
