I can almost hear the birds chirping in the background as you took this picture. Very nice!
Now that I look closer, I see the snake. So cool. My oldest son wanted to be a herpatologist at one point and had several snakes living in aquariums in his room. This picture reminds me of that. It really is a great shot. Thanks for sharing.
The snake is certainly well camouflaged. Living in Australia, snakes are fairly common (in most parts), but I have never seen one in a tree. Hope you have a lovely weekend planned. Jacinta x
Oh wow Tracey, that is amazing!Have a wonderful weekend.xo xoLinda
I almost missed the snake, Tracey. Wow!
Took me a moment to spot the snake, also. Wonderful light... great capture!
Shivers down my spine! Eeeep a snake! You've got my heart a'beating this morning :) Haha! Have a wonderful weekend!
I was like ...oh, a tree...maybe she's hung a knitted goody on it again, let me look...Ack! Hope the snake is a non poisonous variety. Have a good weekend, Tracey.
I hope it was a friendly snake! I hope your weekend is restive :)
Ohhhhhh, I don't know about this. snakes kind of give me the creeps. If I walked past this tree I would end up screaming and running. You are a cooler cucumber than me, stopping to take a picture even!
Snake!!! While I don't mind them, they always make me jump when one slithers in the garden :)Have a lovely weekend Tracey.
sneaky "little" guy, huh? I doubt I would have spotted him!
I was so surprised to see that little snake in the tree! As long as he stays there, I'm fine, lol.
YIKES! Did he scare you to death? I don't mind them so much, unless they surprise me...that one would have surprised me. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!
that freaks me out a little!
Oh my...I don't even want to think that snakes are in trees. I don't mind them too much when I have a bit of warning like then they are on the driveway...I hate when the slither through the grass as I am walking though.
We had a visit from a snake this week as well. Hope yours is friendly.
I would never get close enough, on purpose, to get a picture of a snake. Cool picture, though.Lisa
