laying his head in the grass,
staring into the infinitesimal
forest and seeing it grow
populous with fairy armies.

weekending, my favorite part of the week. a time to relax, live, love, just to be. if you'd like to share your weekend either with words, photographs, or both, leave a link to a weekend post in the comments. Joining up with Amanda.
This weekend has been:
:: Hours of paper and computer work resulting in several major projects
being checked off, leaving only one major task to complete and it can
wait a few weeks.
:: Duplicating a lunch dish I enjoyed on a recent trip to Whole Foods, except I
left out the pine nuts as they are crazy expensive!
:: Enjoying fresh tomatoes from the green house along with carrots, greens and
radishes from the garden. The tomatoes are my husband's babies that he has
pampered for months.
:: Still blaring Adele and also adding a little Norah Jones to the mix.
:: Finishing on sleeve on my Abigail and starting the second one.
:: Not enjoying the time change at all, knowing my whole internal clock will
be off until we fall back to the normal time.
:: Going on a hunt for fairies and finding where they have a home!
[E]very time a child says, "I don't believe in fairies," there is a fairy somewhere that falls down dead. ~James Matthew Barrie, Peter Pan
paperwork :(
ReplyDeletelove the fairy tea set. my sweet poulette loves all things fairy...i need to find a fairy tea set for her as her current tea set was destroyed when we had a few friends over.
A perfect place for fairies. Love the tea set. Also love Norah Jones. She has been a favourite for quite a few years now.Our time changes over very soon and I know that it will be hard for quite a few weeks for me.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. Well, maybe not the paperwork - but surely the big check off the list IS.
ReplyDeleteBlessings...
Fairies.
ReplyDeleteAh, now. .. . Fairies are mystical.
That tea set is precious, love it. I always hope my body hurries up and adjusts to the time change. Best of luck!
ReplyDeletePine nuts are crazy expensive, but they do taste good! Love the tea set photos! Look at you on the second sleeve!!!! I predict I see a finished photo soon :)
ReplyDeleteLovely tea set!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! So cute. Sorry you got stuck with paperwork. I hate the time change too. I will be off for a while.
ReplyDeleteso sweet, i love your fairy tea party.
ReplyDeletetime change feels a bit like jet lag, and (for me) soon passes after sleep and good food and plenty of water.
love that you used r.l.s. again. xxx
have a wonderful week ahead dear tracey.
i believe i believe!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful weekend! Congrats on getting some projects accomplished!
ReplyDeleteI want to stumble upon this tea party on walks in the woods. Oh my. So glad you had a productive weekend. Sets the tone for a great week. Your tea set is divine. We believe. We believe.
ReplyDeleteLove your woodland tea party! I am the same about the time change and I am glad it is not just me. I am not normal until Fall. Why people why?! It gets lighter in the evening anyway.
ReplyDeleteOh congrats on those big projects! I am loving all of the green in those shots!
Love the fairy tea set...so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI read the recipe for fermenting beet root in my permaculture magazine...I simply cut the beet root into thin slices, placed them in a glass jar with lid, covered them in water and left on the kitchen work top for 3 days then refrigerated...I've been drinking the juice daily.
I believe in fairies!xxx
p.s You asked about my Rosie the other week, she was looking and feeling a bit better, but I think she caught an illness from school as lots of her class mates were off sick ( she is only going in for half days at the moment ), so I am hoping that she gets back to that improvement soon....lots of love, sunshine and good nutrition...hopefully it won't be long before she is back to normal.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful week.x
Beautiful quote!
ReplyDeleteI had pine nuts on my shopping list this week and left them at the shop - maybe once a month?!
And here, also, Adele - Kaya and me singing along, which I love - not so sure about our neighbours. :)
Par for the course...love your photos! Looks like a relaxing weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that the fairies have a home and that they've invited you in for tea!
