  7. This has been the strangest winter... sure hope you don't get an ice storm. The middle sister's forsythia has bloomed once already this winter. We are really hoping the fruit trees remain dormant.

  11. ha! buds! oh my goodness, isn't the weather crazy. we got snow last night at long last and the temperatures are due to drop into the teens (in F) by next week! but winter took a long time to arrive.

  17. When does your fig tree usually begin to blossom? I've been wondering if the flowers and trees around here will think that it's time to bloom since it's been too warm. I hope not.

  33. spring!! Yay! I've been loving winter, but I don't know, this little glimpse of spring is getting me excited to dig my hands into some earth! We'll have to wait and see if the groundhog is on our side this Thursday!
