{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. xx
Its amazing how quickly Friday comes around. As a child I remember having hours and hours of quiet playtime with delicate paper dolls. Very retro -lovely.
Oh, nice memories go along with paper dolls! Love your moment! Too bad my sister has a boy, I don't know if he's ever going to like them. We'll have to see... Have a wonderful weekend, Tracey!
I love paper dolls and so do my girls but they have such a hard time keeping them usable for very long!
And I know this is silly, but I love those scissors, I have several pairs, though I'm afraid to admit how many! lol! I snatched up a few of them just because they were in "my" color! Sheesh!
Our moment was taken by my husband. I can not tell you enough what a blast he had! I think he was blown away that there were 8 of them in this "family", because we are a family of 8 too!
Our moment this week was taken after we returned home from our first lantern walk! Nothing like the wonder, joy and beauty that comes with candle light and a beautiful lantern (or four!)!
I forgot that I wanted to give my kiddos a set of paper dolls this year. I also have a set I picked up at an old mill last year. Thanks for the reminder to pull them out.
I've been in love with paper dolls for as long as I can remember. Have you ever seen the ones put out by Emily (Martin? I think?) from Inside A Black Apple? I saw her on Martha Stewart awhile back, and fell in love with her art, but especially the paper doll set!
oh what a good idea for this long week ahead! i just love paper dolls and i bet della will too...thanx for the inspiration and have a lovely week/ thanksgiving!
