I LEARNED MY LESSON

I am always ready to learn
although I do not always
like being taught.

~Winston Churchill

I have feet that are the same
size. I am not sure why I felt
the need to cast on and knit
one sock in a size small and
one in a size medium.
I taught myself a lesson that
I won't soon forget! xx

  3. OMG!!!!! That is so funny. I can laugh, because I've done the very same thing!!! (Fortunately, my daughter's foot is bigger than mine, so I ended up making 4(!!!!!!!!) socks in the same pattern. another win-win. )

  8. That is so frustrating! At least you are halfway to a pair of socks, and very nice socks they will be, I am sure!

  12. Ah yes, all those fun knitting lessons! My friend was just telling me last night that she had made a pair of socks and somehow her gauge changed between the 2 even though she used the same needle size, so they ended up different. Hope you didn't get too far into the wrong sized sock!
