  1. Hard luck with the knitting, Tracey. Have a wonderful break - I would find it hard to keep quiet for a month. Lots of love. xx

  3. Oh no! I hope you do not have to rip out all of it. It looks lovely and right to me.

  4. Oh, that's the worst; taking things apart! I imagine it's as frustrating as ripping seams. Happy August anyhow!

  5. When I read the title I was hoping your knitting wasn't twisted. Alas... Good luck! The yarn and your stitching looks beautiful though.

  6. This somehow placed me directly into Fall. Sorry it's twisted but you really have created a cozy feeling with this pic.

  10. Tracey, your photos always cause me to just stop and stare for a moment... I love the detail. Sorry about the faulty start on the project, but, you got a great photo out of the deal!

  12. I too just pulled out a project, that I had gotten quite far on actually. Ah well, it just means when it is finally done you will be much happier with it. I, for one, would forever look at the finished product annoyed with myself - I'm silly like that...
Can't wait to see what it is you're creating!

ps. I love that I discovered "The August Break" through your blog. It could not have come at a better time for me, so thanks!
