WEEKENDING: NO PLANS

"I arise in the morning
 torn between a desire
 to improve the world
 an a desire to enjoy
 the world. This makes
it hard to plan the day."

~E.B. White

weekending, my favorite part of the week. a time to relax, live, love, just to be. if you'd like to share your weekend either with words, photographs, or both, leave a link to a weekend post in the comments.  Joining with Amanda from the habit of being .
This weekend was...

A weekend with no plans.
Two days of just going with
the flow and enjoying what
the day brings. Saturday was spent
outdoors watching dragonflies
in the herb bed, cloud gazing,
picking home grown fruits and
vegetables. Rabbit hutches,
quail pens and chicken coops
were cleaned and dogs were
bathed. Thankfully I had seen
a weather report or I would
have been putting plywood
over windows since the air
brought the feel of a hurricane
coming to visit. Thankfully
it was just a little cooler
weather before a heat wave
hits the south again. I
tried a new recipe for lunch
and watched an old movie
with a soon to be fourteen
year old who hadn't seen
the ending...where has he been?
Sunday was spent working
on a puzzle  [that is going to
drive me crazy], lots of knitting
and watching the Women's World Cup.
I got to met Percy, a son's
new puppy and learn about a breed
of dog I've never heard of before.
How was your weekend?
xx

  5. Sounds so pleasant! My weekend involved a busy u-pick day, then a large family party in the yard which had to be moved at the last minute because it has been pouring rain here all day! Not restful, but fun nonetheless!Hope the week ahead is a great one!
