{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. xx
Ha! I just realized that I commented on your okra post (which is wonderful, btw). So...whatcha makin'? ;) licking the beater is one of those moments that erases all other thoughts from your mind. You focus solely on the yummy goodness you are sampling. Well done.
Ooo I bet she enjoyed every last drip of that!!! It's still the best part of baking, even for me!!! Hope you are back to feeling well, have a great weekend Tracey!
It's been years since I thought this looked delicious! My middle daughter on the other hand actually orders Grandmas Cake Batter ice cream when we visit the Tillamook Cheese Factory every year.
It really is too bad we live so far apart... we'd spin and knit and there would be a lot of hen talk!
Ah yes, the beaters! For a second I thought it was a cheese string haha. Yummy. Next to this would have to be munching raw dough while rolling out cookies (especially brown sugar cookies) :).
Oh my poor deprived children, I won't allow them to do such things :( I had a friend who spent 3 months in the hospital due to salmonella so I am probably overly cautious because of that.
BTW, I haven't been around my blog or yours because my internet connection has been temperamental at best. I'm sure I've missed a lot of great posts here but if you have one in particular that you're proud of, put the link in a comment over at Sofia's Ideas so I'll be sure to read it! :)
this photo brings back precious memories of my sister and i licking the beaters and bowl when my mum was baking something. the look in her eyes, just gorgeous! enjoy your weekend Tracey!!!
Haha! Lovely moment - that is James's definition of 'helping'. xxx
