YARN ALONG

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Linking with Ginny ~Small Things

I am still knitting along
There is no pattern:
I cast on
stitches:
not counting:
join:
mindlessly
knit while
watching the
pressure cooker
gauge until
I think its big
enough :
cast off.
Handles will be
completed the
same.

I am just starting
to read:
It is about a four
year old little boy
who, while having
surgery, enters heaven.
He survives the surgery
and later begins telling
what happened when
he was in heaven. He
describes Jesus, angels,
relatives long deceased
and God. I now know why
this book is on Amazon's
bestseller list. An
excellent read.

  2. the book sounds like a really really nice story!
...I knitted a vest like that - no pattern, no counting stitches, just knitting until it was big enough and it turned out pretty well.
Live the green shades of your bag :)

  9. Love the bag too. But where is the cardigan? (don't smack me ;0). The book sounds interesting but I think my hormones could not handle that type of read right now. Magazines are a good thing

  10. Oh wow, that yarn is gorgeous! One day I hope to relax enough while knitting to give up patterns, counting, and even watching each stitch form :-)

  16. What a clever idea! One of these days I want to be confident enough in my knitting that I can just cast on & let it go wherever it goes. Not yet, though. xo
