WEEKENDING

weekending, my favorite part of the week. a time to relax, live, love, just to be. if you'd like to share your weekend either with words, photographs, or both, leave a link to a weekend post in the comments.

This weekend turn out not too bad,
in fact, it was a very good weekend.
2010 taxes were completed by lunch on Saturday.
Have I told you how much I enjoy being self-employed?
It was hot with temperatures in the
low 90's and lots of humidity-I glowed,
but now have a little color on my legs.
Adopted three more souls to the farm
who will be introduced later in the week,
Celebrated Beloved's birthday
which meant a birthday cake and
everyone knows there are no
calories in a birthday cake.
Was able to sketch a little,
knit a little and nap a little.
The beans and corn were
cultivated and weeds were pulled.
My lesson plans are ready for
the week, along with all
of my menu planning.
I am now looking forward
to a very productive week.
How was your weekend? xx

Joining Amanda for her weekending post.

  7. Your weekend sounds awesome! It is great you got some time to create too! Happy Birthday to Beloved. When do you do your menu and lesson planning. I think I need some more routine in my life.
Good for you for glowing. The last thing I do when I encounter heat and humidity is glow. ;)
