Health is a large word.
It embraces not the body
only, but the mind and
spirit
as well;... and
not today's pain or
pleasure alone, but
the whole being and
outlook of a man.
~James H. West
I thought by now I would be
healed and back in this space,
but it seems it's one step forward,
two steps back. I was doing so
well and then had a major
setback with a reaction to the
meds I have been on. Tuesday
night I was awaken by what I
thought was a heart attack,
and am now covered from head
to toe in a painful and itchy rash.
I have been given new meds
and am slowing beginning to
heal once again.
While my body has been weakened,
my spirit is still holding tight.
I'm not giving up and soon hope
to be back to normal.
I wanted to say thank you for
all the comments and emails,
they have been words to hold
on to in the middle of the night
when the pain won't let me sleep.
Take care and I will see you soon.
I love you all,
Tracey
I hope you feel better soon!

ReplyDeleteSending love and light...
I have been thinking of you and hoping you are feeling better. It is hard when you have a setback like that. Most certainly frustrating and very easy to have a pity party for one. Believe me I know, I had one last week. It lasted a day (but with lots of crying and carrying on) and then I was in a better place and I hope that is where you will be soon!
