beacons of the sun from which
we get sunshine when dark,
somber skies blanket our thoughts.

Thank you for all the lovely
comments about my first
Annabel Cardigan. I found this
pattern to be such a joy to knit
that I have cast on another one,
this time in grey wool. I have plans
to make more homemade buttons
to add, this time in stone or maybe in
shell if a certain someone will share
their tile saw, ahum. I found the Annabel
pattern to be extremely easy to follow
and a super quick knit. I would love
to knit this cardigan for everyone
on my Christmas list, but we will
have to see.
I am not a writer {I guess you know
that}, but I have a son who loves
the written word so I picked up a
book I first heard about from Karen,
Bird by Bird. I am hoping to pick
up a tip or two before I will pass it
along for him to read.
What have you been up to this week?
Love that book! I heard about it from Amanda (the habit of being) and Erin (wild whispers) The internet is such a good place to be for creativity! I am considering knitting the same sweater again as well.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy the book and your knitting. I really do love gray.
