MY WEEKEND

Hanging with old friends and
saying, 'remember when'?

The weekend has been filled with
playing with my camera and learning
all I can about  aperture.  I still have
a life time of learning photography
in front of me, there is so much I
need to learn, but it's fun so I don't
mind at all.

Eating lots of salads and smoothie bowls,
I add strawberries, almond milk, dates,
coconut oil, soaked raw cashews and
protein powder, then I top with goji
berries, raw pumpkin seeds, and chia
seeds. I can't wait for the blueberries
to ripen so I can try a smoothie bowl
with them. It is the perfect dish on
a warm day.

The best part of my weekend so far?
I met with a group of women, some
I haven't seen since high school. We
had the most enjoyable lunch, talking,
laughing, reminiscing, and just enjoying
being together.  Beautiful women who
I am glad are in this world and now
back in my life.

Today it's raining, I have a sock to knit,
a movie to watch and a book to read.
Oh, and maybe a nap to take. Enjoy
the rest of your weekend.

    I adore you in that you gave photo credit to the waitress! I want that book you're going to read, but I have others to read first. My weekend was perfection, lots of fun and full of busy. It was just what I needed.

    yumyum smoothie bowl!!! I'm sort of bummed that I'm going to be at Living Waters Camp all next week when we start WholeFoodKitchen. I'll have a lot of catching up to do. In the meantime, I'll be subjected to all that greasy southern fried everything!!!

    How fun to reconnect with friends. I wish I see my crew more often. We are all so busy with our lives. I haven't seen the smoothie bowl concept before. It seems like a less thick fro-yo. You go on the healthy.

    I love berries for breakfast. I've just planted about nine different fruit bushes including gogi and blueberry. I do hope they survive I've never had good results with blueberries but I'm told that you can grow anything in the soil here.
    What fun to catch up with all your friends. Looks like you had a great time.

    What a wonderful weekend! I keep meaning to really play with my camera and learn more but my son dropped it recently and something in it broke. Even the automatic functions don't work so well. :-(

    I really enjoyed Wild. The book was even better though... But Reece Witherspoon really impressed me. Hope your week is a lovely one!
