PARIS...

What a wild winter sound,— wild and weird, up among the ghostly hills.... I get up in the middle of the night to hear it. It is refreshing to the ear, and one delights to know that such wild creatures are among us. At this season Nature makes the most of every throb of life that can withstand her severity. ~John Burroughs

Virginia.
One of my most favorite places
in the world. [I was here]
Goats, sheep and a day of sunshine,
then snow for the rest of my visit...
it was fabulous and I loved every
minute of it. I am home now where
I have once again packed away my
wools since the temperature reached
77 degrees today.
I have finished my gift making
and have a list prepared for baking,
but first things first....I need to see
about putting up a tree.
Have a great weekend!
