Turn your face to the sun and
the shadows fall behind you.
~Maori Proverb
Not just the weekend, but
a week of...
long, long walks as the sun
rises over the marsh,
lifting weights again [it's
been too long],
knitting miles of yarn
and reading new books,
of holding paint brushes and
seeing colors on paper,
eating new to me recipes
of the most wonderful
tasting foods,
naps every afternoon,
swinging in the hammock
with sunshine on my face,
finally getting on an acceptable
schedule with new meds and
vitamins.
It's been a week of realizing
that life really is good!
Thanks for all the well wishes,
I am fine, really!

ReplyDeleteWonderful, so good to hear you are feeling good. It all sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteRead your other posts late so I missed your request- I am glad that you are doing okay. I will pray that the Lord make your new meds and vitamins do their thing well, and that you're on the mend/better. Sometimes the hardest part in dealing with any illness or problem is the waiting and unknown.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy your weight training again. You should always put your health first. Try to keep getting lots of sunlight. That is good for you too.
