{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. xx
now this is what i miss about the south. nothing out here looks this way. as a kid we’d make wigs out of the spanish moss, redbugs and all. i love the grand home and the lawn! your’e making me homesick for some deep south!
aaaahhh! Tracey! this just made me jump. our photos are sooo similar aren't they? well, maybe not for you really, i guess this moss thing is typical for the south? you know we don't have this moss on the trees in germany (at least not this kind) so this sight was new to me when we visited Savannah last week. our photo was taken in a park in Savannah. I love how the moss looks like, kind of spooky. and i'm loving your photo!!
That looks like the epitome of the deep south! I love it. At first I thought it might be your house, but then I read all the comments...although I could imagine you strolling across that lawn with a parasol in hand. :)
Is that your house? Its gorgeous! My picture is actually taken at the University of New Brunswick Art Centre. One of the pieces hanging (the blue one) is made by my husband. All of the little images and the images printed on silk are cyanotypes ~ a photographic process. He had this one piece in this show. He also had a solo show at a commercial gallery. I'll post about it soon. I have just got a final count for the Artist Trading Card swap. We need to make 35 cards ~ including one for yourself. It would be great to have them postmarked by September 30th. I'll send you an email soon with more details. Let me know if you have a question. Happy card-making!
Girl. I hate it when you do this. Great pics and no words!!!!! What IS that awesome place? I can tell it's Southern cause I've been in those parts and I know that look! If that is your place, I am moving in STAT! C
What a lovely looking home and those trees and green lush grass. Looks like it could be out of a movie. Enjoy your weekend. Jacinta x
