WEEKEND: HOT AND HUMID

weekending, my favorite part of the week. a time to relax, live, love, just to be. if you'd like to share your weekend either with words, photographs, or both, leave a link to a weekend post in the comments.
This weekend was...

Hot and humid...
so hot and humid
you could SEE  and
feel the air. Just your
everyday typical
summer weather in
the deep south. Starting
this for some easy
summer reading and
hoping it is better
than the last few
books of the series.
A trip to my favorite
thrift store and finding
a few books for the
wee one.  Finally
preparing  this
recipe and only eating
a small bite ... good, but
very rich.  Purchasing
a new toy for the males
of the house to play  work
with since they are trying
so hard catch wild hogs
that are destroying so
much property. I hope
this will finally do the
trick so they can move
on to something
else.  We had  a
fun dinner in town
with lots of good food
and laughter, then it
was home to bed for
me since I am now sick
with the summer flu
bug that has decided
to visit every member of
my home. Linking up with
Amanda for her weekending
posting.xx

  1. Oh Tracey, I hope you feel better soon!!! BTW, my son loved Little Bear anything, and I have never seen a wild hog. Take care, drink lots of tea, and sleep.

  7. You said it was so hot and humid and I look at that wonderful picture of yours and can't imagine that your men are having as much fun with their new toy as they should be!

I'm so sorry you're ill. I haven't heard of anything like that going around here... yet. Hopefully it get's under control before it makes it clear across the country.

Maybe one more bite of that decadent dessert is the cure! :)

    Blessings, Debbie
