CHICKIE BABIES

"We can see a thousand miracles
around us every day. What is more
 supernatural than an egg yolk
 turning into a chicken?"

~ S. Parkes Cadman

Exactly twenty one days-
eight eggs hatched-
four Rhode Island Red-
four Araucana.
We are now picking names-

Duckie
Ann Baxter
Joan Crawford
Greta Garbo
Billie Burke

Still three to go!
Want to help?...
Please!
I am keeping postive
thoughts that all eight
are hens! xx

  3. I gasped when I saw the hatchling!! So cute and amazing to watch. How wonderful!! The names are awesome. I like Dolly Parton, Lady Diana, and Priscilla Pressley, those might send good messages to the universe about wanting lovely ladies!!

  5. Oh how cute! We are terrible with names here.. Feathers, Fluffy, Snow (for a white one)..that is as good as it gets here! We make fun of ourselves all the time about being horrible namers! GREAT job and I hope that all are hens!
