NOTHING LACKING WEEKEND

"Be content with what you have;
 rejoice in the way things are.
 When you realize there is nothing lacking,
 the whole world belongs to you."

~Lao Tzu

weekending, my favorite part of the week. a time to relax, live, love, just to be. if you'd like to share your weekend either with words, photographs, or both, leave a link to a weekend post in the comments.

This weekend was:

:: listening to rain on the roof as I drifted to sleep
::  waking before dawn
:: quiet mornings
:: iced french vanilla coffee
:: cleaning the herb bed while munching on fresh basil
:: fresh pizza with spinach and feta
:: painting eggs
:: learning to double knit
:: a clean closet
:: finding forgotten dress in clean closet
:: a surprise Easter lily and chocolate -oh yes!
:: a day trip
:: hours to knit while traveling on day trip
:: kneading and baking yeast rolls from grandmom's recipe
:: eating too much Sunday dinner
:: dirty dishes piled high
:: lots of left overs for the week
:: two year old hugs after days apart
:: bubbles
:: squeals and laughter  from the people I love
:: old jokes heard again...and again
:: a weekend that lacked nothing!

How was your weekend? xx

  7. A weekend lacking in nothing? Sounds like mine, though mine did lack one thing... rest! But it was lovely.

    Blessings, Debbie

    *Now that I've gotten through the holiday I am eager to begin 'making' for you and the 3 others! How do I go about getting mailing addresses?

  9. Do I just post my address? That doesn't seem right. As you can tell this is new to me. How do you want me to get you my address privately? Sorry to keep hounding you, but forever after I will know how to handle this kind of thing. Thanks!
