"The human spirit needs places where
nature has not been rearranged by the
hand of man."
My dear friends,
I hope your weekend has been
filled with as much joy as mine
has been.
I have knit on socks,
shopped at the market,
picked fresh strawberries,
hiked for miles,
tried to lure alligators in,
watched birds fly,
laughed,
ate cookies,
looked at rainbows,
talked on the phone
with my mama and
my babies.
Yes, it's been a fabulous
weekend.

ReplyDeleteI'm just now catching up on reading your posts for the past couple weeks (I've been off internet for a bit) and love your mint-dye project! Beautiful!
I also have a question for you – do you use a macro lens for your close-up shots? Thinking about purchasing one and wondering which you use and if you like it.
And one more thing – love the quote for today and fully and whole-heartedly agree!
<3 happy mother's day!

Tracey, your pictures or gorgeous! You sound so relaxed and peaceful. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love this quote at the top of your post! It is so true. We don't have many spaces like this that we can be surrounded by, living in the suburbs after all. But it is amazing to see the places that the natural world refuses to give in, even when it has been rearranged. Sounds like a lovely weekend. Similar in some ways to ours, although it is still a bit early for strawberries here.
ReplyDeleteThat quote is so true. I'm happy for you that you got a terrific mama's day. Look at you trying to lure in those reptiles. Go on with your bad self!
ReplyDeletehe is growing and growing!! I love that you had a special weekend, you deserve it!!
