A SEPTEMBER YARN ALONG

and
all
at
once,
summer
collapsed
into
fall.

are coming right along and
I am almost done with the
leg of the second sock,
then it's on to the heels,
the really fun part of sock
knitting in my opinion.

After homeschooling all day I
wanted something light and fun
to read at night so I downloaded
What Alice Forgot, it's exactly
what I wanted.

  2. I adore self striping socks in cheery colors! They always put a smile on my face during the cold and dreary month of the year. Have a great day!

  4. Such bright, cheerful yarn!!! I love it! And I love the way you knit socks....in tandem with each other. I've never caught that you did that. I may try it with the next pair of socks I work on! I think the heel is fun too!! Have a beautiful day :-)

  5. I think I'd like that book. Might have to get it. :) if only the weather would be a bit fallish then I'd be a tiny bit more comfortable.

  6. Is that second photo of a black walnut tree? I always know that fall is here when the grocery store parking lot is littered with dropped black walnuts in one corner (there are three trees there). (:

    1. It's a pecan tree, I have nine on the property. The nuts are almost ready, but it will be a race with the squirrels as to who gets there first ;)

  10. You are much faster at socks than I am. I have about another inch before I turn the heels. I love the stripy colors in yours. And that spider would freak me out!!!
