quietly being filled. The trick
is, knowing how to tip ourselves
over and let the beautiful stuff out.
~Ray Bradbury
My week seems to have flown,
how about your week?
Besides the usual of just living,
you know, cleaning, food prep,
school, reading, and knitting...
There have been mornings
with beautiful, pink skies.
A load of pumpkins that
needed to be baked and
stored for future pies, muffins
and puddings.
The ladybugs are back, a
month early, they are
everywhere.
The weather cooled off
and I actually turned my
oven on and baked a beef
pot pie for my guys.
And just enjoyed being
outside in the cool, fresh
air.
This weekend please remember
that you are beautiful, so tip your
cup over and let it out and show the
world!
Love,
Tracey
A good reminder to all. And just think it will soon be Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful reminder Tracey. I love that quote :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
beautiful post. <3
ReplyDeleteand YES this week just flew by. what is up with that??
I love the warty pumpkin. My week has flown by. So much so with jet lag that I thought it was Sunday today.
ReplyDeletewe are getting a cold front this weekend and I hope it visit you as well. The weeks are just flying by aren't they? I know your house had the aroma of heaven with all that pumpkin preparations.
ReplyDelete...it's cold and rainy here...soup time I say...love the warty pumpkin...
ReplyDelete~Have a lovely day!
What a beautiful sky shot. How cool to get up close to the ladybug. My daughters used to look for them and count their spots which indicate how old they are.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Tracey! Wow, did I ever need that encouragement today. :) Your photos are lovely as always...I especially like the ladybug. There is nothing like the simplicity of a normal week with all the normal to-dos. Glad your week was full of them; I needed this reminder like you couldn't imagine. It was 20 degrees here this morning, but with the frigid, clear night comes the blessing of brilliant blue skies all day long. Tomorrow we are expecting more of the same and so I hope to get outdoors to finish cleaning up my back yard and herb garden. Have a blessed weekend!
ReplyDeletewe all really need to take that big breath...and breathe....
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to enjoy the coming Thanksgiving...and ignoring the fact that we are 'losing' a week before Christmas that we usually get! I'm not ready to flip my calendar to December yet!!!!
Sounds like a great and productive week! Our weather has been lovely. Supposed to rain today and tomorrow as this cold front moves in - yay for winter weather!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful post -- and amazing pictures!
ReplyDeleteWishes for a wonderful weekend!
What a lovely post. I will take your advise :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you've got some cooler weather. And yum! Beef pot pie!

I feel that way about my oven also. Thankfully, it's FINALLY cooled off here too. It was a "freezing" 66 degrees this morning at 7am. Now it really feels like Thanksgiving is next week, for real.
ReplyDeleteLove your shoes!
